Vehicle Rental Agreement

The Operator hires out privately owned motor vehicles for the Hirer’s private use (with or without a chauffeur supplied by the Operator). This is not a taxi meter hire, not an app-cab ride, and not a public service vehicle trip. The Hirer acknowledges the vehicle is a private car made available for the booked period.

• Valid driving licence for the class of vehicle — clear photo of the front uploaded at booking (original also shown at handover)
• Government photo ID — Aadhaar front photo uploaded at booking (or passport if Aadhaar unavailable; originals at handover)
• Minimum age as stated at booking (typically 21+)
• No hire if licence is suspended, expired, or learner-only
• We store these images securely for identity verification, insurance, and dispute handling. Keys / doorstep drop only after documents are on file, full hire is paid, and the full refundable deposit is paid.

When a chauffeur is included, the chauffeur drives the Operator’s vehicle. The Hirer and passengers must follow reasonable safety instructions. Live location sharing may be used for family safety. The chauffeur is not a taxi driver accepting street hails.

Hire charges are due as agreed (UPI / bank transfer / other method we confirm). Self-drive requires full hire charges and the full refundable security deposit before keys or doorstep drop. Doorstep self-drive delivery is only within about 15 km of Mira Road (Mira Road, Bhayandar, Dahisar, Kashimira, Uttan, Dongri, Gorai); farther addresses collect at our Mira Road hub. Keys / vehicle are released only after payment clearance and document check (driving licence + Aadhaar on file). Deposit is returned after inspection, less authorised deductions.

• India only, unless we approve interstate in writing on WhatsApp
• No off-roading, racing, towing, or commercial goods carriage
• No smoking damage, pet damage beyond normal cleaning, or unauthorised drivers
• Fuel grade and levels: return as agreed at handover (usually same level)

Hirer must notify Operator immediately on WhatsApp +91 99301 13077, cooperate with police/insurer if required, and not admit liability without our consent except as required by law. Hirer is responsible for traffic challans, parking penalties, and damage caused during the hire (including third-party claims to the extent not paid by insurance). Operator may charge repair estimates, downtime, and reclaim from the deposit.

Mechanical failure not caused by misuse will be handled reasonably (repair, RSA, or substitute when available). Operator is not liable for consequential trip costs beyond what the Terms allow.

By submitting a booking, paying, replying “confirm” on WhatsApp, or taking the vehicle, the Hirer accepts this Agreement. A copy may be emailed to the address provided and is always available at https://safarseturentals.com/rental-agreement.
